An idea worth building upon

Cor in Latin means heart. When we build something we aim to put our heart into it. Effort, perseverance, the will to not quit over the duration.

Corature originally launched at the end of 2015.

Corature was named after a combination of cork and nature. The original plan and mission was to make items from cork. The Founder (I’ll simply say “I” from here on out) bought a cork watch strap one day and was fascinated by the material and its story. I discovered cork fabric and decided to make a line of fashion accessories out of it to spread its use.

Corature had some success. The brand started getting attention, traction, and sales were growing at a pretty good pace. We were on Amazon, our products found themselves on the shelves of small retailers both local and some international. The Price is Right, the most popular daytime TV show in the U.S even wanted to give away products to their studio audience.

Life often happens and sometimes our plans don’t go as planned. I took some hits.

Not everything always flows in your favor. The reach you were getting diminishes and gravity says not so fast! So we step back but we don’t forget. We never completely walk away from our ideas, from our past efforts.

This is corature 2.0. We lost our .com address but we were able to acquire a .org to utilize until we find a way to reclaim the .com. Org short for Organization and that’s what we aim to build.

We’ll begin with some of our wallets and bags and then slowly pour our heart into new brands, products, and hopefully Entrepreneurs that could use a hand.

SuSu – The Thai translation mean – Don’t give up, fight!
